Dream Feeding

To Dream Feed or not to Dream Feed?

A dream feed can work really well for some babies and not so well for others, it’s completely up to you whether you give it a try or not.

A dream feed is when you feed your baby when they are in a deep state of sleep (generally before midnight) to help them feel fuller for longer, in the hope that they have a longer stretch of sleep.

If your baby wakes frequently due to hunger, a dream feed can sometimes help to eradicate them waking on either side of the feed. Generally in my own experience, I have found that a dream feed works well for babies between 4-7 months.

Generally after 6/7 months, your little will ideally be eating some solids to fill their tummies.
