Sleep and Oxytocin

Oxytocin is the love hormone, is there a connection between oxytocin and sleep?

Yes! Oxytocin is well known for its calming effects, so it’s no wonder it helps get our littles on the path to a good nights sleep and helps baby sleep.

You can use oxytocin to help your baby sleep by making sure that you fill up their love tank.

How can you fill up baby's love tank:

  • Spending some quality 1-2-1 time connecting with your baby before bedtime can make all the difference

  • Lots of cuddles

  • Lots of kisses

  • Fun tickles
